The YouMe Midnight Moon Story

Beautiful Soul! I'm Madeline Perez, the founder and heart behind YouMe Midnight Moon. Founded in July 2023, YouMe Midnight Moon began with a love for the color black and a desire to create something where women could feel seen, confident, and free to be themselves. Faith, family, and learning have shaped who I am. My children inspire me to continue growing, pursue my dreams, and show them what is possible. I believe God's grace lights our way as we continue discovering who we are and who we are becoming.

This dream had been growing since 2020. It started with a simple idea: to make it easier for women who love black to find all-black clothing and accessories. But as I continued building YouMe Midnight Moon, the meaning behind the color black became much more important than what we wear.

Our space is for women to feel welcome, seen, and free to be themselves. It is a space to pause, reflect, reconnect with yourself, and continue growing.

Black has always been at the heart of YouMe Midnight Moon. To me, black is more than a color or something we wear. It represents our experiences, our challenges, our stories, and the parts of ourselves that have shaped who we are.

Journaling became another way to bring that meaning to life. Through our journals, workshops, and resources, my hope is to help women better understand themselves, see things from a different perspective, and create more open conversations around mental and emotional well-being.

Today, YouMe Midnight Moon continues to grow with that same love for black, but with purpose and intention behind it.Whether you find us through a journal, a workshop, a resource, or something you choose to wear, I hope you find something here that reminds you that your story matters.
